Cyber Law Clinic
The Cyber Law Clinic is an innovative program that offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of law.
Background
The concept of Law Clinics originated in the USA and has since been established at numerous universities worldwide. The Cyber Law Clinic at the University of Hamburg is one such initiative, focusing on the practical application of legal knowledge.
Objective
The primary objective of the Cyber Law Clinic is to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of law, under the guidance of experienced practitioners. This is achieved through the simulation of real-world scenarios, where students work with non-legal professionals and the general public to address legal questions and provide helpful responses.
Participation
The Cyber Law Clinic is open to students, who can participate in the program to gain valuable practical experience. The clinic also welcomes questions from private individuals, smaller agencies, and start-ups that may not have access to legal counsel.
Cooperation
The Cyber Law Clinic collaborates with various partners, including the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft mbH, Mediennetz, and Recht und Netz, to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for students and participants.
