M.A. AWG - ÷konomische und Soziologische Studien

The M.A. AWG - ÷konomische und Soziologische Studien program offers a unique opportunity to study work, economy, and society from a multidisciplinary perspective. The program combines economic and sociological studies, enabling students to analyze complex social and economic phenomena.

Theorie, Methoden, Praxis im interdisziplin‰ren Diskurs

A key focus of the master's program is the methods module, which provides students with a broad and comprehensive understanding of social and economic sciences. Students will engage with quantitative and qualitative methods, applying their knowledge in a research project.

The research workshop is a distinctive feature of the program, allowing students to work on their own research questions over two semesters. Students will choose a topic, develop a concept, select a method, and implement their first research project under the supervision of two instructors from sociology and economics.
