Audiology and Phoniatrics

Introduction

The School of Specialization in Audiology and Phoniatrics is designed to train specialists who possess the necessary professional skills and attitude to meet national and European standards in clinical practice. The program aims to provide students with theoretical, scientific, and professional knowledge in the field of pathophysiology, clinical, and therapy of diseases related to the auditory and vestibular apparatus, as well as swallowing and auditory communication in pediatric and adult patients.

  • The program covers various areas of competence, including:
    • Auditory pathophysiology
    • Pathophysiology of auditory communication
    • Functional and instrumental audiological and phoniatric semiotics
    • Clinical methodology
    • Medical and surgical therapy in audiology and phoniatry
    • Rehabilitation of communication pathologies
