Master in Assistenza Infermieristica in Area Intensiva e dell'Emergenza

The Master in Assistenza Infermieristica in Area Intensiva e dell'Emergenza provides the necessary skills for nursing management of critical situations in adults, in both hospital and non-hospital settings.

Contenuti Formativi

The training activities of the Master include:

• A 400-hour classroom training, including practical laboratories and simulation activities
• A 300-hour internship in critical care units at the University Hospital of Padova and affiliated institutions

Destinatari e Sbocchi Occupazionali

The Master is aimed at all nursing professionals with a three-year degree or equivalent title. Upon completion, the nurse becomes a specialist professional able to apply advanced skills in specific contexts, such as intensive and sub-intensive therapies, emergency rooms, and operating rooms.

Programma

The didactic activities are divided into three macro-areas, each comprising several teaching modules, formulated according to functions and/or body systems typical of the ABCDE assessment. The modules are taught by professors from various professional profiles, including doctors, expert nurses, and specialists.

Struttura della Didattica

The classroom didactics consist of 400 hours, divided between lectures, practical laboratories, and exercises. The internship consists of two paths of 150 hours each, focusing on emergency and trauma, ventilation, vascular access, advanced hemodynamics, renal replacement therapy, and neurologic patients.

Informazioni su Prova di Selezione

The selection test is oral and focuses on basic topics of critical care nursing. The test will be held at the University Hospital of Padova, and candidates will be notified of the schedule via email.
