Additional Program Features
Professional Development
As a professional engineer, you may renew your license according to state requirements through continuing education. In Oregon, this includes completing 30 hours of approved professional development courses, which may be met by completing courses online through this certificate.
Apply Credits to a Future Master's Degree
This graduate certificate program is an intermediate step toward a master's degree. If you want to continue your studies, you can apply the credits you earn to a M.S. or PSM in Environmental Sciences, M.S. in Geography and Geospatial Science, or MEng in Engineering Management -- also available fully online through Ecampus. Up to 22 graduate credits may be transferred toward a 45-credit master's degree. Credits may be transferred to the Master of Natural Resources (MNR) program online pending review and commitment from a major advisor.
