Introduction to the Stonehill International Exchange Program

The Stonehill International Exchange Program, established under the renowned international business academic Emeritus Professor Arthur Stonehill, offers international academic experiences for business majors. With 13 partner institutions, students can earn an international business option for their degree, available with all locations except Australia.

  • Bad Mergentheim, Germany: DHBW - Bad Mergentheim (spring term only)
  • Vienna, Austria: Vienna University of Economics & Business
  • Santiago, Chile: Universidad de Chile, Facultad Economia y Negocios
  • Hong Kong, China: City University
  • Brno, Czech Republic: Mendel University
  • Mosbach, Germany: DHBW - Mosbach (fall term only)
  • Nijmegen, Netherlands: Radboud University, Nijmegen School of Business
  • Kristiansand, Norway: University of Agder

Each location has specific orientation, class start, and end dates.


Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:


  • Have a COB GPA of 2.75 or better
  • Senior standing preferred (Junior standing considered with advisor support)
  • Completed specific courses with a C- or better, including International Business, Managing Individual and Team Performance, Finance, and Marketing
  • No grades below a C- in any required business courses that have not been fixed

Application Deadlines

  • October 5 for spring Germany exchange
  • January 20 for fall term exchange

Application Process

  1. Application: Complete the OSU GO application, including a $50 application fee.
  2. Interview: If there is an excess of students listing the same location preferences, they will be invited to interview as part of the placement decision process.
  3. Conduct Check: A campus conduct check is completed for all applicants.
  4. Placement Decisions Announced and BA 348 Registration Access Granted: Applicants are selected based on their application score, exchange seat availability, adaptability, maturity level, and academic performance.

Program Details

  • The program includes a mandatory pre-departure orientation course (BA348) that meets on Fridays.
  • Students will receive an email with a placement offer and deadline for confirming acceptance of the offer.
  • If accepted, students agree to put forth their best effort to complete all pre-departure requirements by the deadlines shared by host institutions and government agencies.
