The Freie Universität Berlin offers a training program for Event Managers (m/w/d). The program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to conceive, organize, and execute events.
Program Details
- The training program is a 3-year course that starts on September 1.
- The program is conducted in the Central Institution for University Sports (ZEH) or the Further Education Center (WBZ) in tandem with the Department of International Affairs and the Staff Unit for Communication and Marketing.
- The ZEH offers a wide range of courses, sports trips, competitions, workshops, and tournaments for all students and employees, providing a broad field of application for the necessary theory-practice transfer for the training profession of event manager.
- The WBZ is a central service facility of the Freie Universität Berlin, offering over 800 events in scientific and professional further education, attracting around 8,000 participants annually.
- The Department of International Affairs supports the global partnerships and exchange programs of the Freie Universität Berlin, providing a diverse field of application for the necessary theory-practice transfer in the training profession for event managers.
- The Staff Unit for Communication and Marketing is responsible for cross-media press and public relations, corporate publishing, internal and political communication, and marketing activities, also providing a diverse field of application for the necessary theory-practice transfer in the training profession for event managers.
Remuneration and Benefits
- The program offers a tariff-based training allowance according to TVA-L BBiG:
- 1st year: 1,236.82
- 2nd year: 1,290.96
- 3rd year: 1,340.61
- Annual special payment
- Asset-forming services and additional allowances
- 30 days of vacation
- Subsidy for the Germany ticket job and VBB company ticket
- Free work clothing
- 400 bonus for successful completion of training
