Program Overview


Program Overview

The Freie Universität Berlin offers a one-year certificate program in "Beratung und Coaching für die Arbeits- und Organisationswelt" (Consulting and Coaching for the Working and Organizational World). This program is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to advise and coach individuals within and outside of organizations.


Program Structure

The program consists of nine mandatory modules and one elective module, "Abschlussarbeit" (Final Project). Participants must complete all mandatory modules to receive a certificate of participation. The elective module requires participants to work on a concrete case study, applying the skills and knowledge acquired during the program.

  • Wahlmodul 10: Abschlussarbeit (Elective Module: Final Project)

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, participants must have a first academic degree in psychology or a related field. The program is primarily aimed at students, career starters, and professionals in the first years of their career who want to work as internal or external consultants or coaches.


Tuition Fees

The program fees vary depending on the participant's status:


  • Firm tariff: 7,900.00
  • Regular fee: 6,600.00
  • For job seekers: 5,850.00
  • For students and alumni of Freie Universität Berlin: 5,200.00

Payment Terms

Payment can be made in two installments. The first installment is due upon confirmation of participation, and the second installment is due halfway through the course.


Cancellation Terms

In case of cancellation, the following fees apply:


  • Up to two months before the course starts: 10% of the course fees
  • From two months before the course starts: 50% of the course fees
  • After the course starts: 100% of the course fees

Scientific Leadership

The program is led by Prof. Dr. Rudolf Kerschreiter, Professor of Social, Organizational, and Economic Psychology at Freie Universität Berlin.


Training Leadership

The training is led by Oliver Watzal, a certified systemic coach, supervisor, and mediator.


Additional Lecturers

The program features additional lecturers, including Hanne Philipp, Robert Coordes, Tina Tonndorf, and Dr. Tanja Nazlic.
