Program Goals
The program aims to meet the unique needs of Unconquered students so they experience the long-term professional and personal benefits associated with educational attainment. Many Scholars have faced profound hardships during childhood that may increase their risk of leaving academia without a degree. Research indicates that former foster youth are far less likely to earn a degree than their non-foster care peers. Florida State University is committed to supporting Unconquered students in achieving their academic goals.
