The International Programs at Florida State University offer a wide range of study abroad opportunities for students.

Program Description

The Oxford Law Program is a summer program that provides students with the opportunity to study law at the University of Oxford. The program is open to students in good standing at an ABA-approved law school.

Program Sessions

The program is offered during the summer term, with the following dates:

• Arrival Date: 06/29/26
• Departure Date: 08/06/26
• Fee: $13,860.00

Eligibility

The Oxford Law Program is open to students in good standing at an ABA-approved law school.

Courses

The program offers the following courses:

• Alternative Dispute Resolution
• Comparative Appellate Advocacy
• English Legal History
• Introduction to English Public Law

Money Matters

The program fee includes instructional costs, housing, international health insurance, and program-planned excursions. The fee does not include round-trip international airfare, passport, food, books, and supplies.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to students, including Bright Futures, Florida Prepaid, and scholarships.

Visa Information

Students will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the United Kingdom.

• Applications Open: Wednesday, October 15, 2025
• Commitment Fee Due: Friday, February 27, 2026
• Full Payment Due: Friday, March 27, 2026

Health & Safety

The program has a comprehensive health and safety plan in place, including international medical and evacuation insurance coverage.

Insurance

The program includes international medical and evacuation insurance coverage through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI).
