UWF Pathway Program

The Physician Assistant Pathway Program is a mission-based program aimed at recruiting and training qualified Florida panhandle students to become physician assistants who will care for elderly, rural, minority, and underserved populations in Florida.


Pathway Admissions Requirements:

  • Must reside permanently in a Florida panhandle county
  • Meet all admissions requirements for FSU School of Physician Assistant Practice
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have a prerequisite GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have a GRE score of greater than or equal to 300 on the Verbal and Quantitative sections combined
  • Successfully complete the program interview process in Tallahassee
  • Agree to complete all clinical rotations in Pensacola
