Center for Intensive English Studies

The Center for Intensive English Studies offers a range of programs designed to improve English language skills.

Online Intensive English Classes

The Online Intensive English Classes provide an opportunity for students to study English from the comfort of their own homes. The program features:

• Interactive classes with real-time feedback
• Expert teachers with a Master's or PhD degree in Second Language Teaching
• A global community of international learners
• Flexible learning options, allowing students to choose as many courses as they want
• A Certificate of Completion from Florida State University's Center for Intensive English Studies, including a designated CEFR rating

The program offers the following courses:

• Writing: 9:00am 9:50am Eastern, Monday-Thursday, $300 for 7 weeks
• Grammar: 10:00am 10:50am Eastern, Monday-Thursday, $300 for 7 weeks
• Reading: 11:00am 11:50am Eastern, Monday-Thursday, $300 for 7 weeks
• Speaking: 1:00pm 1:50pm Eastern, Monday-Thursday, $300 for 7 weeks
• Listening: 2:00pm 2:50pm Eastern, Monday-Thursday, $300 for 7 weeks

Program Details

• Each online class is 7 weeks long and meets with a live instructor every day, Monday through Thursday.
• Classes must have a minimum of five students to run. If a course is not able to run, the tuition fee will be refunded immediately.
• The program is designed to give students the confidence to interact in English in any situation, whether in the workplace, at social gatherings, or in the classroom.
• All classes are Intermediate Level classes, which are B1 on the CEFR scale.
• The instructors have at least a Master's degree in TEFL, along with many years of teaching experience.
