Ceramics 2 Program
Overview
The Ceramics 2 program is designed for students with prior wheel-throwing experience. This course requires independent proficiency in wedging, centering, pulling, and forming basic shapes. The focus is on refining foundational forms and exploring more complex techniques. Students will work with 35 lbs. of clay to build skill and confidence in throwing larger pieces.
Requirements
- Prior wheel-throwing experience is required.
- Independent proficiency in wedging, centering, pulling, and forming basic shapes is necessary.
- Note: One Beginning Wheel class may not be sufficient preparation; repeating it is often recommended before enrolling.
Schedule
- Class meets one day per week.
- Day: Wednesday
- Time: 5 - 8 p.m.
