What to Expect
Students can complete the dual degrees in five years. After completing 75 undergraduate semester hours of coursework, students can apply to the master's portion of the program, typically in their junior year. The program builds upon foundations in mathematics, physics, and computer engineering, teaching students to work at both the microscopic level and on a system-wide scale to understand computer systems and components.

The Division of Engineering Leadership and Professional Practice connects students with opportunities to integrate classroom fundamentals into the real world, including co-ops, global study abroad experiences, and partnerships with industry leaders. Admissions Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must first be admitted to Case Western Reserve University's undergraduate computer engineering program. After completing 75 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, students can apply to the master's portion of their degree. Application requirements include:
- Successful admittance to CWRU as an undergraduate
- Completion of three years of a computer engineering major
- Completed online application
- Statement of objectives
- Resume/CV
- Unofficial transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation
- $50 non-refundable application fee
