Electrical Engineering Program
The Electrical Engineering program at Case Western Reserve University is designed for highly motivated individuals who want to earn both their bachelor's and master's degrees in just five years. This integrated program allows students to start working on their graduate degree while still an undergraduate student.

The program is intended for students who want to increase the impact of their time on campus. By combining the undergraduate and graduate degrees, students can set themselves on the fast track toward an impressive career developing digital devices, software, and systems that improve and affect everyday life.
What to Expect
Typically, undergraduate students apply to the integrated BS/MS program in the spring of their junior year. If accepted, they determine up to nine credit hours of graduate-level courses that can count toward both degrees. In addition to undergraduate courses, students work toward their master's degree and complete either a research-oriented thesis or project track, depending on their career interests and aspirations.

The program provides ample resources for students to meet their needs and interests. These include:

- Fully stocked workspace in the Sears Undergraduate Design Laboratory
- Opportunities to find a research niche in areas such as robotics or nano systems, alongside renowned faculty and impressive students

Admissions Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Be admitted to Case Western Reserve University's undergraduate computer engineering program
- Complete 75 credit hours of undergraduate coursework
- Apply to the master's portion of the degree in the sixth semester of the BS program (usually the spring term of the junior year)
- Meet application requirements, which typically include:
- Successful admittance to CWRU as an undergraduate
- Completion of three years of a computer engineering major
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Completed online application
- Planned Program of Study form
- Statement of objectives
- Resume/CV
- Official Case Western Reserve University transcript
- Three letters of recommendation
