Medical Physiology
The Master of Science in Medical Physiology is designed to prepare students for a lifelong career in the medical and healthcare professions. Located in the health care hub of Cleveland, Ohio, the program offers a flexible master's degree that can be completed on a full- or part-time basis, with the option to start in the spring, summer, or fall semester.

The program is tailored to improve students' chances of admission into medical school, dental school, or another professional program. With a focus on medical physiology, translational physiology, the physiological basis of disease, and clinical reasoning, students will gain a solid medical foundation. The program also offers a collaborative learning community, where students can engage with their peers and share in each other's successes.
What to Expect
Over the course of 32 credit hours, students will be prepared for the intensity of professional school. The curriculum includes classes in medical physiology, translational physiology, the physiological basis of disease, and clinical reasoning. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in clinical and shadowing experiences, as well as participate in medical research with affiliates.

The program offers ample opportunities for students to engage in clinical and shadowing experiences, as well as participate in medical research with affiliates. Students can also participate in volunteer opportunities at institutions such as the Ronald McDonald House, Circle Health Services, and the American Heart Association. The department sponsors various events, including an annual summer picnic, a welcome reception for incoming students, a Cleveland Indians baseball game outing, a winter holiday party, and a graduation reception.

Admissions Details
The program reviews each applicant holistically, with no GPA or standardized test score minimums. The application requires:
- Unofficial transcripts
- Standardized test waivers available
- Current resume
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statement of Purpose
- Academic statement (optional)
- $50 application fee
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (for applicants whose native language is not English)
Students can apply for entry in the spring, summer, or fall terms, although early application is recommended.
