    • SASS 547: Problem Identification, Screening and Assessment/Diagnosis (3 credit hours)
    • SASS 550: Trauma Informed Social Work Practice with Children & Families (3 credit hours)
    • SASS 554: Trauma Informed Social Work Practice with Adults (3 credit hours)
  • Electives: Choose two of the following courses (6 credit hours)
    • SASS 517: Family System Interventions
    • SASS 562: Social Work Intervention with Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders
    • SASS 564: Social Work Practice with Substance Use Disorders
    • SASS 582: Social Work in Child Abuse and Family Violence

    • SASS 598: Individual Reading (with Trauma-Informed Practice Certificate Chair and instructor approval, an individual study in Applied Social Sciences involving trauma-specific programs of reading, research, and special projects may be undertaken)
