Overview
The graduate program in orthodontics is a master's (Master of Science in Dentistry) and certificate program dedicated to advancing the art and science of orthodontics through research, teaching, and service.
Program Description
The clinical training of orthodontic residents encompasses all aspects of current orthodontic practice, including full treatment cases with fixed appliances and clear thermoplastic aligners, early treatment, adult treatment, craniofacial anomalies, orthognathic surgery, oral appliances for sleep apnea, the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADS), soft tissue lasers, and electrosurgery. The length of the orthodontic program is 30 months.

Program Requirements
The MSD program in Orthodontics fulfills the Standards set by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) for training in the specialty.
