Master of Science in Anesthesia Program

The Master of Science in Anesthesia Program at Case Western Reserve University has a history rich in leadership, scholarship, and reputation in the field of anesthesia.


Program Overview

The program continues to expand on its foundation, with the Houston location launching in 2010 with an initial class of sixteen graduate students. The program has expanded clinical training sites more than threefold, providing students with rich clinical opportunities. Students are exposed to various procedures, including cutting-edge minimally invasive and robotic surgery, heart, lung, and liver transplants, fetal intrauterine procedures, and massive traumatic injuries.


Program Accreditation

The Houston location of the Master of Science in Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committee for the Anesthesiologist Assistant (ARC-AA). The next review will take place before 2030.
