Academic English Proficiency Program

Introduction

The Academic English Proficiency (AEP) Program is designed for international applicants whose first language is not English and have TOEFL or IELTS scores between 75 and 89 (TOEFL internet-based test) or 6 and 6.5 (IELTS). This program allows students to be admitted to graduate study provisionally.

Eligibility

• Qualified applicants with TOEFL scores between 75 and 89 or IELTS scores between 6 and 6.5 may be eligible for the AEP Program.
• Continuing students who are non-native English speakers can also improve their written and spoken English skills by participating in AEP Program courses.

Program Details

• Upon completing the AEP certificate, the provision for full admission is satisfied, and the student may begin graduate study in the program.
• Note that AEP Program courses cannot be taken as Fellowship Courses.

Admission Criteria

• Applicants must meet the minimum language requirements to gain admission to the program.
• Please note that the program is not currently accepting new students until further notice.
