Introduction to the Building Regulation Course
The Building Regulation course focuses on interpreting and applying regulatory requirements for dwellings and outbuildings under the National Construction Code (Building Code of Australia Volume 2) and how these codes support other building regulations such as the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and Regulation.
About the Course
With the increased focus on better building regulations in the housing sector (Class 1 and 10 buildings), understanding the National Construction Code is key to ensuring new housing and ancillary development are constructed with a focus on safety and amenity of building occupants. This course is designed for professionals involved in the processes of interpreting and applying building regulation, including architects, building surveyors, councillors, development assessment officers, development engineers, and planners.
