Bachelor of Information Technology (Co-op)

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Co-op) is a fast-tracked IT degree that develops leadership and technical skills. This cooperative education scholarship program is a collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and leading industry partners.


Course Description

The course is designed for aspiring IT professionals and offers a competitive edge with a structured, industry-designed program. It includes formal coursework delivered by professionals and two six-month industry placements, ensuring skills align with real-world demands.


Admission Requirements

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Special application and selection procedures apply, including a minimum ATAR of 85 and an interview.


Course Structure

The course is three years full-time and involves four sessions of full-time study at the university and two sessions of full-time industry-based study and practical experience. The industry-based sessions are 23 weeks in duration.
