International Pathway Programs
Program Overview
International Pathway Programs
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) offers international pathway programs that enable students to transfer credits from a partner university or college towards their UTS degree. These programs are designed to provide a seamless transition for international students to complete their degree at UTS.
External Articulations
External articulations are formal inter-institutional arrangements that allow students to complete part of their degree requirements at a partner institution and transfer those credits to UTS. UTS holds agreements with a select list of offshore institutions for the recognition of prior learning arrangements.
- 2+2 Model: Enables students who have completed two years of studies at a partner institution to transfer academic credits equivalent to one year of a three-year program or two years of a four-year program at UTS.
- 1+2/3 Model: Enables students who have completed one year of studies at a partner institution to transfer academic credits equivalent to one year of a three-year or four-year program at UTS.
Pathway Programs
Pathway programs at UTS currently take the form of a 3+2 model and for some faculties (e.g., Faculty of Law) 3+1.
- 3+2/1 Model: Enables students from selected universities to be admitted into a two-year Master's program at UTS upon completing three years of a four-year program at their home university.
