Bachelor of Creative Production in Music and Sound Design
The Bachelor of Creative Production in Music and Sound Design is a hands-on creative production degree that launches a career in music and sound design. This course is designed to give students the skills to work in a wide range of roles within the digital sound industry, plus the critical business and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed.
Course Description
This course combines the domains of music, sound, and screens, allowing students to study popular music, sound design, and the production and analysis of sound for various media, including interactive environments. Students acquire skills in music production, sound engineering, and digital media, whilst learning directly from industry experts.
Course Structure
Students complete core subjects addressing the juxtaposition of sound and the moving image, ethical creative practice, and entrepreneurship. In the Music and Sound Design stream, students learn about audio production, songwriting, composing, and creating soundtracks for screen, audio cultures, and much more. A self-directed sound project gives students the focus to refine their creative voice.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. The Faculty has an optional Music and Sound Design Portfolio Scheme, which awards up to five adjustment points towards the selection rank, based on an applicant's portfolio of music and sound design work.

Domestic Course Fees
The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $53,513.00. Fees are reviewed annually and may change.
