Admission Requirements

  • Current Ahpra registration as an Enrolled Nurse (for the accelerated program)
  • A Diploma of Nursing completed (for the accelerated program)
  • English language proficiency (IELTS Academic: overall 7.0, listening 7.0, speaking 7.0, reading 7.0, writing 7.0)

Course Structure

The program covers essential nursing subjects, including Anatomy, Pharmacology, and Patient Care, alongside clinical placements for practical experience. Students develop critical thinking, communication, and advocacy skills to provide high-quality care. The course also includes a specialty elective in the final year, allowing students to align their education with future career aspirations.


Tuition Fees

The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $14,572.00. Fees are reviewed annually and may change. Additional costs include the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) and textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.


Inherent Requirements

Inherent requirements are academic and non-academic requirements that are essential for successfully completing the course. These include criminal record checks, health screenings, and vaccinations. Students must also meet the NSW Ministry of Health verification requirements for clinical placements.


Recognition of Prior Learning

A block credit of 48 credit points (the first year of study) will be granted to enrolled nurses who are eligible for entry into the accelerated program.
