The Bachelor of International Studies is a program that includes an In-country study year.

Typical Study Program

The typical study program for the In-country study year is as follows:

• Autumn/First session: April-August
  • Depart for and commence In-Country Study and Field Work Project 1
  • Begin study at the partner university
  • Embark on In-country study projects/assessments with supervisor and receive a visit from the In-country study Major Coordinator while overseas
• Spring/Second session: August-October
  • Commence In-Country Study and Field Work Project 2
  • Continue study at the partner university
  • Continue with In-country study projects/assessments with supervisor
  • Complete an online Student Feedback Survey (SFS) for In-country study and field work project 1
