Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 100% online and part-time course that allows students to study when it suits them. The course is designed for professionals who are future-focused leaders ready for a new challenge, passionate about ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible practice, and want to strengthen their ability to lead in organizations adapting to new technologies and evolving ways of working.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have successfully completed a UTS recognized undergraduate bachelor's degree plus one of the following:


  • Minimum GPA of 5.25 on a 7-point scale, or equivalent, and a 90% pass rate
  • Four years full-time, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Satisfactory performance in the Graduate Management Admission Test with an overall minimum score of 550 with verbal 25, quantitative 35, and AWA 4.0.

English Language Requirements

English language requirements apply to both international and domestic students. The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is:


  • Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • TOEFL: paper-based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet-based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21
  • AE5: Pass
  • PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50
  • C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169

Recognition of Prior Learning

Previous studies or employment experience can be acknowledged as credit towards online postgraduate studies, provided that it meets the relevant course requirements. If you receive a UTS offer of enrolment, and you've undertaken previous studies at another institution, you may be eligible to apply for recognition of prior learning.


FEE-HELP

To assist with all or some of your tuition fees, FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. This government-supported loan scheme is designed to help eligible full-fee paying students pay their tuition fees.
