Entry Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Completed an Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in Nursing
- Current registration as a registered nurse in Australia (AHPRA)
- Current employment as a registered nurse in a hospital-based setting (or have a letter of offer to commence employment as a registered nurse by commencement of study)
- A minimum of 1 year full-time, or equivalent part-time, post-registration clinical experience (nursing)
English Language Requirements
English language requirements apply to both international and domestic students. The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is:
- Academic IELTS: 7.0 overall with a minimum score of 7.0 in each subset
- TOEFL: internet-based: 94 overall, reading 24, listening 24, speaking 23, writing 27
- PTE: 65-72 overall with a minimum score of 65 in each subset
Recognition of Prior Learning
Previous studies or employment experience can be acknowledged as credit towards online postgraduate studies, provided that it meets the relevant course requirements.
