Program Overview

The Bachelor of Communication (Writing and Publishing) course is designed for individuals interested in creative writing and the publishing industry. This program provides students with the skills and knowledge to develop their writing abilities and understand the Australian publishing industry within a global context. The course is delivered by accomplished authors, scholars, and industry experts who introduce students to various forms of creative writing, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, writing for performance, and digital storytelling.


Program Structure

The program consists of 144 credit points, comprising 24 credit points of core subjects, a 48-credit-point major, a potential 48-credit-point second major, and 24 credit points of electives. Students must complete the following components:

Learning Outcomes
