Program Overview

The Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations and Advertising is a professionally accredited course that opens the door to careers in creative advertising and strategic public relations for corporate, government, not-for-profit organisations, and communities. The degree is taught by practitioners and leading researchers in the field, who will help students build skills needed to enter a dynamic and diverse global communication industry.


Program Details

  • The course consists of 144 credit points.
  • Students must complete 18 credit points of Communication Core subjects, a 48-credit-point Public Relations and Advertising Stream, a potential 48-credit-point Second Stream, and 30 credit points of Electives.
  • Students are required to select their second stream when they enrol for their first year and must complete the first two subjects from this stream during their first year of study.

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:
