Bachelor of Education Futures Master of Teaching in Primary Education

The Bachelor of Education Futures Master of Teaching in Primary Education is a four-year full-time or eight-year part-time course designed for aspiring educators aiming to qualify as primary school teachers in New South Wales. This unique program blends both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework, allowing students to complete both qualifications in just four years of full-time study.


Course Description

This course is designed to help students graduate ready to succeed in a real classroom environment. It covers a wide array of contemporary issues, from sustainability to Indigenous perspectives, alongside a major specialisation of the student's choice. The course includes an intensive professional experience program where students spend 80 days in practical experience teaching, and offers extensive, structured, and closely supported experiences of primary school teaching in different settings.


Admission Requirements

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. All applicants must submit a personal statement that will be used to assess non-academic selection criteria as required by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL).

Course Fees

The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $19,675.00. Fees are reviewed annually and may change.

Our classes are held at our City Campus, or specialist off-campus locations. Some of our courses are delivered via online (distance) learning.
