The Bachelor of Communication in Creative Writing Bachelor of Laws is a cross-disciplinary degree that combines the study of law with creative writing, editing, and publishing. Course Description
This course suits students who aim to blend legal expertise with writing prowess, suitable for careers in law, publishing, or writing. By integrating a legal education with hands-on writing, editing, and publishing experience, students acquire a comprehensive understanding of storytelling across various media and meet the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in NSW.
Course Structure
Students begin their Communication studies with core subjects, building their knowledge of the discipline. They then specialize in a chosen stream, honing their writing and editing capabilities and acquiring insight into the publishing profession. Simultaneously, they undertake a range of core subjects in Law, covering topics like evidence, remedies, civil practice, and torts.

Course Highlights

Industry Accreditation
This course satisfies the academic requirements for admission to the Supreme Court of NSW as a lawyer. Once completed, students will also need to complete a practical legal training program to be eligible for admission as a lawyer.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. English language requirements include IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, UTS College AE5, Pearson PTE, or Cambridge C1A/C2P.
Domestic Course Fees
The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $91,455.00. Additional costs include the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.
