Program Overview
Bachelor of Construction Project Management
The Bachelor of Construction Project Management is designed to give students a practical understanding of all aspects of the construction process, including quantity surveying, contract administration, and property development. This course is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), and the Australian Institute of Building (AIB).
Course Description
This course is designed for individuals aiming to excel in construction project management and related fields. Students will acquire a blend of management, technology, and process skills essential for high-paying roles in construction and beyond. The course includes a mandatory 200 days of industry experience, often as paid cadetships, providing students with valuable professional insight.
Course Structure
The course is offered on a four-year full-time basis with part-time options. Students have flexibility to transfer between part-time and full-time attendance patterns throughout the course. Subjects are timetabled to facilitate students working in industry whilst studying to meet the industry experience requirements of the course.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. The Faculty-based adjustment scheme awards ten (10) adjustment points to female applicants. Students who have completed a TAFE Diploma in one of the following areas will receive five (5) adjustment points: Building/Planning/Architectural Technology/Design/Architectural Drafting/Civil Engineering/Project Management.

Tuition Fees
2026 Indicative tuition fees for government-supported domestic students: $9,537.00 (first-year tuition fee), $39,603.00 (indicative total tuition fee)

Recognition of Prior Learning
Students with prior academic or industrial experience are considered for recognition of prior learning (RPL) for up to a maximum of 96 credit points (50 per cent of the course) and may be given the opportunity to tailor their program of study in line with subjects completed previously at other institutions.
