Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (Honours)
The Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (Honours) is a research-focused degree that primes students for postgraduate study in transdisciplinary innovation. It offers industry engagement and mentorship, working on research that tackles real-world issues.
Course Description
This course builds on the existing Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation degree by extending the research dimension in the 4th year of the course. The course is a stepping stone to masters and PhD studies, broadening career and academic prospects. Graduates are equipped to address global challenges with a focus on cultural and social justice, contributing to future workforce development.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at an appropriate level. To qualify for entry into the course, students must have successfully completed:
- all required subjects in their professional degree program with a weighted average mark of 65 and above
- at least 5 subjects from the specified Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation subjects with a weighted average mark of 80 and above
- the subject "New Knowledge Making Lab" with a minimum mark of 75 and above
- demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality written material through submission of a sole-authored writing sample for review by the BCII Honours coordinator.

- TOEFL iBT: overall 79, writing 21
- UTS College AE5: Pass
- Pearson PTE: overall 58, writing 50
- Cambridge C1A/C2P: overall 176, writing 169
Course Fees
The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $39,803.00. Additional costs include the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.
Course Structure
The course is exclusively available as a double degree and can be paired with one of 27 Core degrees. In the first three years of study, students will take BCII subjects in an accelerated format during the July and Summer sessions. The BCII will be completed with one full year of study after completing the Core degree.
