Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Bachelor of Business is a combined degree offered jointly by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the UTS Business School. This degree equips students with skills in engineering and business management, allowing them to complete the core and major components of both degrees.


Course Description

This combined degree is targeted at aspiring professionals who want to integrate engineering expertise with business acumen. Students learn how engineering and business fit together, how to manage technology and innovation, and how to commercialise engineering innovations. The degree can be completed in less time than two separate degrees.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Eligibility for admission does not guarantee an offer of a place.

Course Fees

The indicative total tuition fee for government-supported domestic students is $51,478.00.


Location

Classes are held at the City Campus or specialist off-campus locations. Some courses are delivered via online (distance) learning.


Duration

The program may be completed on a five-year, full-time or equivalent part-time basis.

Professional Recognition

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is fully accredited by Engineers Australia at the level of Professional Engineer and is recognised internationally by signatories to the Washington Accord.


Inherent Requirements

Inherent requirements are academic and non-academic requirements that are essential for successfully completing a course at UTS.


Assumed Knowledge

HSC Mathematics Extension 1; Physics; and English Standard. English Advanced is recommended.
