The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Industry Practice (Chemical Process) is a five-year full-time course that combines academic study with hands-on skills in chemical process engineering.

This course is designed for aspiring professional engineers who seek to design, create, manage, and improve complex engineering systems using cutting-edge technologies. The course offers an authentic, professionally focused, and practice-based education program with two sessions of internship in a real workplace setting.

- 8 core Engineering subjects
- 20 Chemical Process Engineering major subjects
- 4 Elective subjects
- 1 Industry Practice Diploma
- 1 x 2 x 24 weeks internship

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Eligibility for admission does not guarantee an offer of a place.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice, majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Data Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Flexible Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Software Engineering is fully accredited by Engineers Australia at the level of Professional Engineer and is recognised internationally by signatories to the Washington Accord. Chemical Processing Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering are provisionally accredited with Engineers Australia, pending full accreditation and are expected to be eligible for full accreditation once a representative group of graduates has emerged.
