Graduate Diploma in Property Development
The Graduate Diploma in Property Development is designed to provide a comprehensive education in all aspects of property development, giving students experience with the entire property development process as well as the hands-on skills needed to succeed.
Course Description
This course is tailored for professionals in architecture, engineering, construction, valuation, planning, business, or finance seeking to deepen their understanding of property development. The course is part of an articulated program comprising the Graduate Certificate in Property Development, the Graduate Diploma in Property Development, and the Master of Property Development.
Duration
The course duration is one year of full-time or two years of part-time study. All subjects are offered in intensive blocks, with an attendance pattern of two separate two-and-a-half-day blocks, usually held over a Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent
- English language requirements: IELTS Academic overall 6.5, writing 6.0, TOEFL iBT overall 79, writing 21, UTS College AE5 Pass, Pearson PTE overall 58, writing 50, Cambridge C1A/C2P overall 176, writing 169
Tuition Fees
The indicative total tuition fee for domestic students is $33,065.00. Fees are reviewed annually and may change.

Industry Accreditation
Graduates will meet the educational requirements for accreditation as a Certified Property Practitioner (CPP) and Certified Development Practitioner (CDP) with the Australian Property Institute (API). This course also maps to the Planning and Development pathway with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
