University Program Information
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has introduced a new Bachelor of Creative Production suite of courses, including the Bachelor of Creative Production in Music and Sound Design. This change is in response to student and industry feedback, and as part of the normal five-year course reaccreditation cycle.
Program Details
- The new Bachelor of Creative Production in Music and Sound Design will replace the existing Bachelor of Music and Sound Design.
- Core subjects will change from 8 credit points to 6 credit points.
- The major will be replaced with a stream comprising 8 x 6-credit-point subjects.
- Students can choose to complete two sub-majors and one elective, one sub-major and five electives, or nine electives.

Transition Arrangements
- Students who commenced prior to 2026 in the affected courses will not be impacted by the introduction of the new Bachelor of Creative Production.
