Program Overview


Graduate Diploma in Engineering

The Graduate Diploma in Engineering is an exit-only course, meaning there is no direct admission. Current UTS students may submit an Internal Course Transfer (Graduating) application to exit with this qualification.


Overview

This exit-only program is designed for professional engineers seeking to enhance their expertise and managerial skills beyond their undergraduate degree. The program allows students to solidify their engineering discipline knowledge while broadening their understanding of engineering management. With a tailored study plan, students can reinforce their core engineering discipline and equip themselves with practical skills in their chosen area of specialization.


Structure

Students are required to complete 48 credit points, comprising:


  • Professional Engineering (18 credit points)
  • Engineering stream (18 credit points)
  • Electives (12 credit points) Electives are chosen from postgraduate subjects offered within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology; some subjects may require prior approval based on access conditions.
