Program Overview
The Management major is underpinned by creative and critical thinking reflective of tertiary-level education focused on the issues of responsible, reflexive, and accountable management. The program is proactive in responding to and shaping the contexts, demands, and perceptions of managers in increasingly complex and turbulent times. The major is designed so that students can direct their program of study toward developing many of the essential attributes and competencies necessary for a career in a professional role in general management, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, or other management-related roles.

The major consists of 48 credit points and includes six core and two option subjects. Students undertaking the Management major with the following major or sub-major will need to substitute an alternative subject(s):
- MAJ08442 International Business students may substitute up to two alternative Management subjects in the MAJ08438 option list,
- SMJ08219 Sustainable Enterprise students must substitute alternative subjects from the MAJ08438 option list in place of 21510 Introduction to Strategy and 21513 Business Ethics and Sustainability
Anti-requisite(s): MAJ08446 Human Resource Management, SMJ08109 Management Consulting, SMJ08130 Management
Subject 21595 International Management Field Study involves overseas travel and related expenses.
