Professional MBA Curriculum
The Professional MBA program combines three essential elements:
- A core curriculum that provides a robust foundation in essential business disciplines, preparing you for leadership roles and broad career growth.
- Required Capstone and Global Field Experience projects give you and your team a real-world applied learning activity and promote camaraderie throughout the MBA experience.
- Specialized electives in your second year enhance your skills in key areas, such as healthcare, finance, and more, tailoring your PMBA experience to your career goals.
Weekend and Evening Options Available
- Evening Format: Standard classes start around 6:15pm and end around 9:30pm. Dinner is offered and available at 5:30pm. Most weeks require attending class on Mondays and Wednesdays, but during the first semester, students also have to attend class on alternating Thursdays.
- Weekend Format: The weekend format was designed for those with a 9/80 work schedule. The standard class time on Friday is 4pm to 9:30pm, but some Fridays require students to come to campus early.
Experiential Learning
Capstone
The Capstone Course gives Professional MBA students the opportunity to participate in a real-world applied learning activity outside of work and the traditional classroom. It brings together student teams and their professors to develop recommendations that can help community organizations solve critical strategic challenges.
Global Field Experience
The Global Field Experience (GFE) is a high-impact, immersive international business challenge that changes your perception of the world and the way you conduct business. This core course is built into your curriculum and allows you to gain international consulting experience and prepares you to succeed as a global business leader.
Second Year Flexibility
Second-year electives are open to all of our on-campus MBA students, therefore our Professional MBA students may choose from 100+ electives in their second year, depending on schedule availability.
