ARCH 550: Plausible Fictions
This course is taught by Troy Schaum and takes place on Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in WCH, Room 275. The course explores the recent history of plausible fictions in architecture, particularly in relation to form, composition, and representation. It examines how the transition to mass production has changed the understanding of part-to-whole relationships, legibility, and proportion, and how certain typologies have come to dominate the understanding of possibilities in architecture.
