Higher Education Administration and Policy Master's Program
The Higher Education Administration and Policy master's program prepares the next generation of publicly engaged scholars who seek to effect change within and beyond the professoriate, as practitioners, policymakers, academic leaders, and across disciplinary fields. The program's mission is to critically examine the sociohistorical and policy contexts of higher education, focusing on issues of access and opportunity.

- Instruction: In-person on Riverside campus
- Schedule: Each class meets once a week 4-7pm (Monday-Thursday)

Curriculum
Students enrolled in the Higher Education and Administration and Policy master's program will take 36 units/9 classes. After completing the coursework, students complete an analytical report integrating content from higher education courses with practice on the topic of their choice. This program is available for Fall only admission.

Program Description
The Higher Education Administration and Policy master's program provides students with the tools and knowledge needed to research and understand the complex challenges facing higher education administration and policymakers today. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty who are experts in critical race theory, student affairs, campus climate, higher education, and more. The program's curriculum prepares students for a variety of roles in higher education, such as student affairs, admissions, or academic outreach, or to pursue a Ph.D. program.
