Program Content
The program consists of a research project, which is developed throughout the two years. The project is presented and discussed in seminars, workshops, and lab forums, providing students with regular feedback and criticism from peers and instructors. The program also includes courses on contemporary dramaturgies, digital tools, and academic and artistic writing.
First Year
The first year focuses on challenging the student's research project with new perspectives and approaches, such as reflection on practice, digital expression, and dramaturgical aspects.
Second Year
The second year deepens the student's research project and knowledge of academic and artistic writing in relation to their own and others' practices. The project is also related to the public sphere, site-specific perspectives, and building a basis for communicating the project to local and global professional fields.
Eligibility and Admission
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as theater, physical performance, dance, music, or sound art, and demonstrate artistic knowledge and skills through an entrance exam. Professional experience in the field is also required. English proficiency is necessary, equivalent to English B/English 6.
After Graduation
The program leads to a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Performative Arts and is preparatory for further research studies.
