The Language Technology program is designed for individuals who want to develop large-scale language models for AI, gather and process large amounts of text to study language structure and evolution, and apply language technology knowledge in various contexts.
Master's program in Language Technology
The Master's program in Language Technology at Gothenburg University provides a broad language technology education. To be eligible for the program, applicants need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a bachelor's degree in linguistics, with at least 30 credits in programming, mathematics, statistics, formal linguistics, or other formal subjects. Similar Master programs in language technology are also available at Uppsala and Stockholm universities.
