Program Overview
Juristprogrammet
The Juristprogrammet is a 4.5-year undergraduate program at the University of Gothenburg, leading to a Juristexamen degree. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in law, preparing them for a career in the legal profession.
Program Description
The program combines theoretical studies with practical problem-solving, allowing students to develop a deep understanding of the law and its applications. The curriculum includes courses in Swedish law, international law, and legal theory, as well as practical training in legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation.
Program Structure
The program is divided into nine terms, with a focus on building a strong foundation in law during the first three years. The final year allows students to specialize in a particular area of law, such as business law, international law, or human rights law.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grundlðggande beh—righet
- Historia 1b eller 1a1+1a2
- Samhðllskunskap 1b eller 1a1+1a2
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on a combination of grades (66%) and the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (34%).
