Work-Integrated Learning (VFU)
VFU is an essential part of the education, conducted at a school under the supervision of a teacher. After Graduation
After completing the program, students can apply for an ðmneslðrarexamen. They then have the eligibility to apply for a teaching license in the subject of physical education and health in grades 1-9 of compulsory school and upper secondary school, as well as in their second subject in grades 7-9 of compulsory school and upper secondary school. Graduates are also eligible to teach in adult education.
Studying Abroad
Students have the opportunity to conduct parts of their studies abroad, both in university-based and work-integrated studies. Initiating such an exchange requires students to first contact the responsible institution for their course.
