Eligibility
Basic qualification + English 6, Social studies 1b or 1a1 + 1a2. Alternatively, English level 2, Social studies level 1b or level 1a1 + 1a2.

Program Structure

Business-based education (VFU)
VFU is a crucial part of the program, where students, under the guidance of a teacher's supervisor, get to try out and reflect on the different aspects of the teaching profession. This includes planning, leading, and executing own teaching and other pedagogical activities.
Career Opportunities
After completing the program, students can apply for an ämneslärarexamen, which grants them the right to apply for teaching credentials in their subjects within elementary school grades 7-9 and high school. They also become eligible to teach within adult education.
Studies abroad
Students have the opportunity to complete parts of their studies abroad, either through university-based or business-based studies. Initiating such an exchange requires students to contact their course responsible institution.
