The Konstnärligt Masterprogram i Film (Master's Program in Film) is a two-year, 120-credit program offered by the HDK-Valand School of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg.

• A Bachelor's degree in Film or equivalent (at least 180 credits).

Program Content

The program offers an exploratory and craft-focused education that investigates the potential of film to illuminate contemporary issues and create new perspectives. • Students work on Vasagatan in an environment that supports the entire film production process, from idea and research to finished film.
• Facilities include a film studio, photo studios, editing rooms, a sound studio, a cinema, and well-equipped workshops for developing both experimental and traditional formats.
• Through Equipment Checkout, students can borrow professional camera, lighting, and sound equipment for larger productions.
• The house also features project rooms and galleries where students can exhibit their work and test different presentation formats, sharing the environment with students from other artistic programs.
