Yoga: Historical and Critical Perspectives
The course treats yoga traditions in premodern time and their transformation during late 19th century and 20th century to specialisations of modern yoga. On the basis of contemporary research within the field of history of religion, the course focuses on the development of various yoga traditions from a historical point of view.

Prerequisites and Selection
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or University studies equal to a Bachelor's degree, including an approved Bachelor thesis of at least 15 credits.
- Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 5/English A from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
